CREATIVE CIRCLE: TRUTH – FEBRUARY 2015
Creative Circle, the oldest advertising awards bodies, celebrates its 70th ‘platinum’ year in 2015. The publication includes editorial and awarded work based on the theme ‘Truth’. The art direction and design focused on removing all superfluous elements resulting in a transparent, honest and simple piece of print. The actual physical ‘truths’ of the object; gold ink, ink, binding materials and acrylic were communicated through an exploded pie chart on the cover. This system was then used on in the awards sections and will be further utilised at the awards ceremony at the Roundhouse in London. Creative direction & design: Tim Fletcher & Marc Donaldson.
